100 Years of the Cathedral of Learning
Come one, come all to Cathy-Palooza: A Cathedral Centennial Celebration for a once-in-a-century birthday bash commemorating the groundbreaking of our University's favorite building on Sunday, September 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of Learning.
Enjoy a family-friendly carnival on the Cathedral Lawn with games and airbrush tattoos. Build your own Cathedral from plastic bricks as you learn about the building's iconic craftmanship. Tour the Nationality Rooms at your own pace. Watch for our resident peregrine falcons with the National Aviary. See pieces of Pitt history from the University Library Systems Archives & Special Collections. And of course—no birthday would be complete without cake!
