Showcasing Spaces Tour

Step into the spirit of Pitt as you explore iconic campus spots, new spaces and hidden gems. Be sure to come to campus from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, to explore, snap photos, take a tour and see the University from a new perspective. We recommend you preregister for tours and open houses, but walk-ins are always welcome, too.

Join Pitt's University Art Gallery (UAG) for a walking tour highlighting the work of Virgil Cantini, a renowned Pittsburgh artist and the first chair of the Studio Art Department. This student-led tour begins at the School of Public Health and culminates in the UAG, where a student-curated exhibition of the work of Virgil and Lucille Cantini will be on view. You will have the opportunity to learn about some very familiar works and to go behind the scenes to see lesser-known works.
